Musser was born in the small coal mining town of Defiance, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Temple University, Jerry King Musser has been published in over one hundred graphic design anthologies, and has been recognized around the world with numerous awards for his avant-garde video work. His audio recordings can be found on most any online music streaming service. He has worked on graphic design projects for companies like Apple Computer, Microsoft, National Geographic Society, Polaroid, IBM, Sony Music, CBS Records, Herman Miller Furniture, the country of North Macedonia, and the Hermitage Museum, Leningrad. Jerry wrote the book for the blues stage musical, The Tear Jar, and has produced film work for the Dutch band, Golden Earring; the international recording star, Dan Hartman; and for MTV. Musser’s experimental video art is in the permanent collections of museums in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Naples, Italy. His photography has been published in Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands.
